This unit of work is staggered photography. This is the same picture pasted over and over next to each other. This is a blurred and makes the picture look like it's futuristic. This is because the photo looks good because of the different colours in the picture of the left. These pictures were taken in NY. The buildings look blurred this adds some more texture to the picture. This could add an extra layer to the picture because the picture it's self is good however I prefer the other pictures content.
The best picture out of the three in content is the second picture because the staggered effect is more effective because of the flowers in the picture adds extra colour. The buildings are slightly moved to the right. The staggered effect makes the picture look a bit imaginary. Therefore the way the picture is staggered can change the emotion and the feeling of the picture as the colours in the picture make the mood of the photo changes. this fits in the word of hidden worlds because it's something that is not seen in real life.
The picture on the right adds over exposure and makes the building lines more crisp and allows the picture focus to be determined by the viewer. In my opinion the picture looks like it could be from a cartoon book. Therefore could be part of hidden worlds unit because
Idris Khan
This is a different type of staggered photography. Even though the way the picture is completed is the same the after effect on the viewer is completely different. The picture on the left is my most favourite picture because because the focus is more interesting to me than the other pictures. This is especially good because the picture is lighter and looks like it's been drawn on. The multiple lines makes the focus of the picture look more mysterious and the black and white or desaturation makes the picture mood turn into like a thriller mood. Also there are other details in the picture that could intrigue the viewers to realise what's happening in the picture.
The picture in the middle is a lot darker than the other pictures. To be honest i'm not sure what the picture is but the lines are much more crisp. The effect of the picture going from lighter to darker until you get to the middle of the picture . All of the pictures above look like sketches, I think this is a positive effect on the picture. That the lines are blurred, I think that it improves the form and the picture as it frames the picture in a different way.
The picture on the right is different form the picture in the middle because it's the same picture of big ben put next to each other to cause a blur. This therefore makes the picture look much cooler than the original picture would and the colour of the picture makes it look like there is a darkness and mystery. The contrast of the grey and the black makes the picture look a lot cooler. The pictures would have been different as it the pictures are copied differently.

3 editided pictures
The three pictures above are the best photographs of the unit. My favourite picture out of the pictures above are the last picture as it's not to photoshop heavy but enough to get the effect across. This is because the levels are the same and it looks staggered. I also like the first picture (left). This has got more layers to it and has more craziness on the photo. This is because I have staggered the picture more. This could decrease the main focus of the picture. The way I would like to improve this in the future is because a road with bigger buildings with more character. Maybe central london.
Photoshop tutorial
The first step is duplicate the layer on top of the the original. This is so you can turn the opacity down and move the picture left or right. This is so you can make the picture look staggered. Then to make it look more staggered is to keep duplicating layers on top of the original. This would be able to make the pictures like it's been moved and staggered across.

This is an attempt at staggered photography. My favourite picture of the 3 above is the picture on the left. This is because all the original picture aren't busy and could suggest tranquility. This is because I want to contrast the simple calm picture with the crazy staggered effect. This allows there to be a contrast between the two, and explains that any given time a place can be both.

These three above are he best photographs because of the natural depth of field of the road. This makes the staggered effect more seen. I like the picture on the right the best because it has more of a depth of field and isn't over staggered this make the people still know what the picture is showing. The main reason I like this photograph is because it without the editing it's a calm and tranquil picture but the staggering makes the picture look a bit more hectic. This photoshoots objective was to improve on the other photoshoots.

Mini Outcome/ tutorial
This the first attempt of the Idris khan of staggering photos. There are a few ways to do this. The first way to do it to decrease the opacity and move the photographs. I have already attempted this in the photoshoots above. The second way is to desaturate the photographs. The way I have done it is to play around with the layer styles on each layer. The pictures above have different combinations of layers. The first picture on the left is is the first layer is overlay, the second layer is hard light and the third layer is soft light. The combination of the three above makes the picture look staggered.
Different pictures will have different combinations of layer styles. The picture on the right is a combination of colour dodge, overlay and dissolve and started of with a different picture in the background layer. This meant that the whole completion of the picture is completely different.
Photoshoot 6
The objective of the photograph is to do a photo shoot on site. This is because on site there are lots of factors that can change the way a photos taken. Each of the photos have been edited differently with different opacites and different styles. The best version of the picture is the one on the left this is because it is darkened and staggered and overlay. This adds a completely different effect to the picture on the right. This is because the original picture are staggered lighter, the opacity is less. The thing I would like to change in the future is the staging of the photo's is a bit off.

This is a good photograph because because of the staging of the photo's and the road. The building is always staggered differently because the starting picture is completely different. This is because the buildings be the photos can be shading of the photos are completely different. This is because some of the picture

This is a version of staggered as the picture look more gloomy and a dark attitude. This is because of the colour of the building. The picture on the right is better than the picture on the left this is because the building is staggered better. This is because the styles work differently. This is because of the layers the opacity is different for each unit. This is because of the mix of hard light and overlay on this type of picture makes the current look more gloomy and mysterious. The slight staggered of the windows make it look like a hallucination. As the pictures are slightly staggered. The window on the top and the middle makes the picture look like an illusion.
The next photoshoot could be my my final piece. This would be a bridge and i want to make sure the viewers know what the subject of the picture is but to slightly stagger the subject and the light. I don't want to go over the top.

From this photoshoot we can see they are different photographs with different styles on them. The curve of the road the busyness makes it easier to stagger and emphasis. The road is already busy, a slight shift of the picture makes a much larger effect. The picture and layer styles are exagerated.
Staggered final photoshoot (10)
This is the final photoshoot of the unit. This is taken in central London. The reason for this is the long roads and the old classical buildings. The staggered effect was used effectively on the pictures because the first picture on the left is staggered much more than the other picture even though the amount of pictures duplicated are the same. This is because the places where the pictures were staggered were completely different than the other picture. This is because different layer styles were used. The picture on the right has also been desaturated and staggered in a different way. The form and the content are the same and the depth of field helps the viewer get the real perspective of the picture. I like the picture on the right more because it's more blurred and not overdone. The picture on left has some advantages because it is shows the opposite of the picture on the right as it shows the busy and more chaotic part of the same picture.
